Piero Sraffa

was an Italian economist renowned as the founder of the neo-Ricardian school of economics and was part of the Keynesian revolution. Sraffa studied at the London School of Economics and got to know John Maynard Keynes during a visit at Cambridge. During his academic career, Sraffa dealt intensively with the work of David Ricardo and developed his labor theory of value further, achieving a whole new theory of prices. The school he founded is called Sraffian Economics.
