Plato

was an antique Greek philosopher and one of the most influential thinkers for the antique and medieval culture and Cristian  doctrine. Born in Athens, he spent two years in a Greek colony in Italy before he returned to Athens and founded his famous academy. Most of his works are written as dialogues, concerning topics like politics, laws, the state, beauty, truth and the good. One of Plato’s students at the academy was Aristotle.
